Involved in mitochondrial deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTP) pool homeostasis and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) maintenance . May be involved in the regulation of reactive oxygen species metabolism and the control of oxidative phosphorylation (By similarity).
